My name is Rigoberta Menchu and I won a Nobel Prize. Although it is of no relevance,
I am a liar.

'No Question' Of Revoking Prize
[Geir Lundestad, director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute and permanent secretary of the Norwegian Nobel Committe, said in a telephone interview from Oslo that he was aware of the Stoll manuscript and had no reason to doubt its veracity. Nevertheless, he said, "there is no question of revoking the prize" to Ms. Menchu. "All autobiographies embellish to a greater or lesser extent," he continued. He added that the decision to award the prize to Ms. Menchu "was not based exclusively of primarily on the autobiography" and that while "the details of the family history are not without relevance, they are not particularly important, and so this will lead to no reconsideration on our part."]
