excerpt from Marina's manifesto
: I began my quest on the social networking site MySpace. There I quickly made some friends and had a few back and forth e-mailing sessions. I learned that most people are not on MySpace to discuss deep spiritual beliefs, but to shout ‘holla!’s’ at each other. I was able to join a number of groups and make use of their forum action. Since my quest has only been going on for about a week and a half, I would say that I am currently in the beginning stages of my life on the internet. For about a week the forums on MySpace were down and so I moved on along to TalkCity, a chat-room site. There I also learned that most people are not interested in conversations that go into three syllables. I was silenced and even kicked out of one chat room. I then opened another outlet of idea-sharing and that was with ReligiousForums. Even though the article I posted on there was quickly pulled (apparently I was proselytizing,) this was the best medium to get people to respond to me in full.
