You casually bring up your recent non-flouride decision, at the dinner table.  Your family accuses you of being paranoid and that it wouldn’t surprise them if you didn’t know gullible was written on the ceiling.  After personally confirming that gullible is indeed not written the ceiling, the family takes great amusement in your buffoonery.

You storm off into the living room, and all of a sudden the television turns on.  The static image the screen beckons you closer, and you can sense another presence in the room with you.  It urges you closer, but you inform it that you are really not in the mood for these types of shenanigans right now.

The tv replies that it’s just trying to do its job, and that there’s no need to be curt.

You then have a long discussion with it about researching the matter of fluoride further and if there's any substance to the accusations of detrimental impact on our bones and teeth.  After enduring this excruciatingly dull conversation for a full three hours, the tv makes an ultimatum.  It says you need to either drop the issue forever and go to sleep or go away so it can get some sleep.

What do you do?
