A combination of studio and seminar, this course was aimed at developing
process, research methods, and techniques for idea-generation.
Assignments dealt with themes of time and space,
such as:
- creating a tool to measure time and/or
space
- re-creating a remembered space
- making a time capsule
- examining an historical moment
- altering time: speed up/compress, slow
down/expand, backwards, cyclical, cut-up
Projects took many forms, including installation, video, comics, and performance.
